Capturing cinematic details.

As part of our Leading Characters collection, we share our introduction to London based photography studio, Dearing & Flynn, composed for their forthcoming website.

“What may be a boring lamp is more. There’s a story if you can find it. Details tell the story, and it’s the perfectly, imperfect, luxury in simplicity.”

— T. Flynn

About | Dearing & Flynn.

Dearing & Flynn is a photography studio based in London, formed in partnership between two visionary creatives, Glenn Dearing and Thomas Flynn.

In 2012, a fortuitous occasion led by the late Italian Artist & Restaurateur, Vincenzo ‘Enzo’ Apicella, proposed the introduction between Dearing and Flynn, bestowing an opportunity for exchanging creative viewpoints.

Desiring to fulfil storytelling in a cinematic, noir, thought-provoking manner, accentuating design and aesthetics through photography; Dearing & Flynn combine their individual artistry, bringing together the photographic expertise and perspectives of Glenn Dearing, partnering the creative direction of Thomas Flynn, forming a deeply considered, evocative story beginning to end and the lost stories between.

Collaborating to capture the details of a former London restaurant established by the celebrated British Restaurateur, Russell Norman, the resulting developments demonstrate brilliance in the Dearing & Flynn partnership.

Originally initiating with the objective to illuminate the audience about hospitality culture, Dearing & Flynn has since broadened their portfolio to include personalities, interiors and curiosities from the Lifestyle, Arts & Cultural domains.
